PRIVACY POLICY

Software Pre-Release & Evaluation Agreement
Effective Date: July 3, 2026

1. Purpose & Non-Distribution

The Software is an unreleased, pre-production version provided solely for evaluation, feedback, and testing. It is not intended for public distribution or commercial use. You agree not to distribute, share, leak, or expose the Software, its source components, or its architectural features to any third party without express written permission from DropPoint-Dev.

2. Absolute Ownership of Rights (IP)

DropPoint-Dev retains all right, title, and interest in the Software, including all source code, bot logic, database schemas, patents, and trademarks. Furthermore, any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports you provide regarding the Software automatically become the sole property of DropPoint-Dev. You waive any claims to compensation or ownership over future features built based on your feedback.

3. Freedom to Monetize

This Software is currently provided free of charge for testing purposes only. DropPoint-Dev reserves the right to discontinue this free access, shut down the hosting infrastructure, or clear database records at any time. DropPoint-Dev also reserves the right to charge for the Software, launch a subscription model, or restrict access to paying users in the future, without any obligation to grandfather your free access.

4. Direct Restrictions

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the bot's source code or SQL database structures.

  • Creating any derivative works, copycat bots, or unauthorized integrations based on this product.

  • Exploiting, scraping, or launching malicious attacks against the server infrastructure or SQL database hosted by DropPoint-Dev.

6. Third-Party Platform Compliance (Discord)

By interacting with the Software, you acknowledge and agree that DropPoint-Dev processes and stores specific data within a secure SQL server environment.

  • Data Collected: This may include Discord user IDs, server/channel IDs, interaction logs, command inputs, and automated diagnostic/crash data.

  • Purpose: This data is stored and processed solely to maintain the bot’s functionality, track application states, and debug server errors.

  • Retention and Protection: DropPoint-Dev will use reasonable technical measures to secure the SQL database. However, because this is testing software, you acknowledge that data may be wiped, lost, or corrupted at any time without warning. DropPoint-Dev will never sell, lease, or share this data with third parties.

7. No Warranty ("As-Is" Status)

The Software interacts with Discord via the Discord API. You agree to abide by the Discord Terms of Service and Developer Terms of Service when using this Software. DropPoint-Dev is not responsible or liable for any actions taken by Discord against your account or server resulting from the use or misuse of this Software.

8. Liability Cap

BECAUSE THE SOFTWARE IS UNRELEASED, FREE, AND RELIES ON HOSTED SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE, IT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." DROPPOINT-DEV DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, INFRASTRUCTURE UPTIME, SECURITY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU USE THE SOFTWARE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

6. Liability Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROPPOINT-DEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DISCORD CHANNELS/DATA, SQL SERVER CORRUPTION, DATA BREACHES, COMPUTER FAILURE, OR FINANCIAL LOSS) ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE. IN NO EVENT SHALL DROPPOINT-DEV'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $0.00.
